Indian Premier League (IPL): now what about that in the middle of IPL?

Folks, Indian premier league is actually Indians Paisa Lagao (IPL) league and how come the very word cricket is missing in the acronym IPL?

ICC, BCCI,....... think of any other cricketing bodies/associations which doesn't have cricket in its name.

Any comments?
